Intro
Living Arts Press™ serves weary homeschool families with resources rooted in the historic Christian faith and a confessional Lutheran worldview. We begin with rest, trusting Christ’s finished work, and we teach from grace—not pressure—so peace and rigor can live together at home.
Holy Scripture
We receive the Bible as the inspired, authoritative, inerrant Word of God, the trustworthy source and norm for faith and life. Scripture shapes our worship, our teaching, and our daily rhythms at home.
The Triune God
We confess one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—three Persons, one God, now and forever. We worship the Maker of heaven and earth, redeemed by Christ, sustained by the Spirit.
Creation, Humanity, and Vocation
God created the world and called it good. He creates each person with inherent dignity and purpose. We believe work done in faith—parenting, study, homemaking, craftsmanship—is holy service to our neighbors (vocation).
Sin, Grace, and the Gospel
We acknowledge our sin and our weariness. Our hope is Christ alone—crucified and risen for the forgiveness of sins. Grace rests us. From that rest, we are freed to love, learn, and serve.
The Church and Worship
The Lord gathers His people by His Word and gifts. We honor weekly worship, prayer, and the church’s historic patterns as the heartbeat of the Christian home.
Sacraments (Brief Statement)
In keeping with confessional Lutheran teaching, we honor Holy Baptism and the Lord’s Supper as Christ’s gifts for His Church. Families should receive pastoral care and teaching from their local congregation.
Parents as Primary Educators
Parents bear the joyful, primary responsibility for forming children in faith and learning. We design resources that respect the home as a sanctuary of learning and the parent as teacher.
Education as Integration (Truth, Goodness, Beauty)
We pursue integrated learning—uniting subjects around God’s truth, cultivating virtue through beauty, and forming habits that prepare children to love God and serve neighbors.
Charity in Non-Essentials
We hold the essentials of the faith with conviction and extend charity to Christians who differ in non-essentials. We aim to speak the truth in love, without hype or pressure.
Human Dignity and Neighbor Love
Every person bears God’s image. We ask our community to engage with kindness, humility, and patience. We reject contempt and strive to make our resources welcoming and clear.
